i had hope, but alas, the overflowing recycle bin near the ice machine was a sight for sore eyes. the internet was painfully weak—who knew we’d be living in the dark ages? also, after such inconveniences, a complimentary upgrade for my room woudl ve been the least they could do. almost left a good review, but just couldn’t.

The warm hospitality from the owners was unforgettable! The breakfast with homemade blueberry waffles was simply delightful. The only downside was that the pillows could use a bit of an upgrade. 😊

The Pinecone Motel was a pleasant surprise! The owners welcomed us warmly, showcasing a lovely breakfast room filled with cheerful chatter and delightful aromas. I enjoyed the comfortable bed and clean facilities. The location offers a peaceful retreat with handy access to main attractions.

However, the furniture felt mismatched and slightly outdated. I would have appreciated a couple of extra amenities, like a hairdryer or ice machine, for a more complete experience.

Hosts were incredibly welcoming, showing us to our room, explaining how everything worked. The air conditioning kept the room cool, which was great. I appreciated the nice shower and cleanliness of the room. Breakfast included freshly baked muffins and scones, which were delightful. My only suggestion is to update the bedding. the pillows were a bit flat and uncomfortable. Overall, a lovely place to unwind.

The breakfast was homemade and delicious, with plenty of options like eggs cooked to order. We also appreciated the cozy atmosphere during our two-night stay. Plus, it was only a 20-minute drive from Sussex Golf & Curling Club, perfect for a family outing!

The owners went above and beyond to provide a personal touch, carrying our cooler into the room and informing us about breakfast options.

Had a great night in a Queen Room. The room was cool with air conditioning, had a microwave and fridge, lots of free toiletries, and a nice shower. Breakfast was delivered to our room, and the owners were super nice. Definitely, a comfy place to rest up and enjoy the quiet.
